When Minutes Matter

Emergency care for dogs and cats.

During Regular Hours

If you have an emergency or urgent concern during regular office hours, call 508-877-0900 and press “4” on the phone tree to immediately reach a receptionist. We can see most daytime emergencies at Framingham Animal Hospital.

After Hours Emergency

After hours you will reach our answering service, which will page one of our doctors until 8 p.m. The doctor will call you back to discuss the issue and help you decide on the next step: at-home care, or an appointment at Framingham Animal Hospital the next day, or an immediate trip to a 24-hour ER.

If your concern is urgent you may want to proceed directly to an ER. See list of local 24-hour animal hospitals below:

Due to staffing shortages, many of the Emergency Hospitals have changed their hours and the cases they are able to see.

If it is after 8 p.m. or your pet needs immediate care we are suggesting at this time you contact either BluePearl Waltham or Mass Vet Referral. See below for a full list of emergency hospitals. Please click on their link to see their current availability or Call Ahead.
